This is a 1985 Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 in Scarlet Red. Serial number is 5 0139. It is the 139th production Paul Reed Smith guitar ever made. It is 100 percent original in 9.2/10 condition. Nothing has been changed or modified since it left Paul Reed Smith in 1985. All electronics, plastic, hardware, finish etc... are completely stock except the strings of course. Fret wear is minimal and the action is very good. Truss rod is in excellent shape and has been barely used. The original hard shell case with case key and the tremolo bar are with the guitar as well. There is a small nick visible on the tip of the back of the headstock and some worming in the finish on the back of the guitar from buttons etc. Volume pot code dates to 85. Pickups are the “T” and “B” pickups. 5 way selector switch and sweet switch are original. In the neck pickup cavity there is a “star” drawn in pencil under the nitro. In the bridge pickup cavity there is the serial number

5 0139 , the words “SCARLET RED” and the letters or initials reading “EHL” penciled in the spot where the pickup height adjustment screw fits in.
